In November 2009 I went to a children’s conference called Superstart. Its theme was about God creating us to do good works, which means that if God wants you to help somebody you do it in a way that pleases Him. I got to put this in action right after I got home by convincing my dad to help an older man get his car out of a ditch. I felt happy after this because I knew we did the
right thing.
My favorite part of Superstart was listening to a message about the different ways other children have helped the poor and needy people. We also had a cool concert from a group called “The Lads” who were from New Zealand. They sang some pretty cool songs for us.
I really want to go back to Superstart. It is fun to be with so many friends at once and learn about God at the same time.
